ALFA Launches New Website

The Australian Leisure Facilities Association (ALFA) has launched a new look website.

Offering new design and greater functionality, the new website includes additional features such as a Jobsboard, powered by Sportspeople; a member only forum (LinkedIn); and a member login secure section (with login details to be sent to all members in the coming weeks).

Other features coming soon include on-line member registrations, payments, bookings and payments; along with a leisure facilities register.

The new website is supported by AUSTSWIM, Kinect Australia, Royal Life Saving Society - Australia and Sportspeople.

The battle to represent aquatic and recreation professionals has hotted up this year with the Leisure Institute of Western Australia (Aquatics) [LIWA] apparently having national ambitions with the launch of a new aquatic journal. Backed by funding from the WA Department of Sport and Recreation, the content of the new publication largely focuses on Western Australia aquatic facilities.

It follows LIWA Aquatics' regular pronouncements on aquatic management and safety issues across Australia and the longstanding disputes within Royal Life Saving Society - Australia and its Western Australian branch.
