AIMS International expands attractions industry safety education into Asia-Pacific
Amusement Industry Manufacturers & Suppliers (AIMS) International, a global leader in safety education for the attraction industry has expanded into the Asia-Pacific market with the inaugural AIMS Asia Pacific Safety Seminar.
AIMS, is a non-profit international organisation that represents amusement industry manufacturers, suppliers, organisations, and individuals that have an interest in supplying products or services to the amusement Industry.
This highly anticipated event was held at the Pan Pacific Singapore from 21st to 25th April and featured world-class speakers, the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Singapore, and top industry professionals.
AIMS partnered with CASY Engineering Consultancy, Yogeeswaran Sivasithamparam, and Girish Jagajeevan to bring this event to the Asian market and successfully execute it at the high level the industry has come to expect from AIMS International.
AIMS International executive director Amy Lowenstein delivered the keynote address speaking to best practices from North America followed by 40 hours of amusement safety education across the five-day event.
A variety of sessions covered topics from maintenance to inspection, operations, electrical, permitting, welding, corrosion, risk assessment, and ASTM F-24 Rides Standards.
AIMS board member Rob Gavel noted “the passion and engagement throughout the week was inspiring. We are grateful to Yogee and his team for their enthusiastic support and efficient management of the seminar.”
Celebrating 60 years, AIMS International is a non-profit 501(c)(6) association dedicated to improving amusement Industry safety through leadership in education. AIMS International provides training classes and certification for ride inspectors, operations, aquatics, and maintenance personnel through its annual Safety Seminar and at other venues throughout the year.
The AIMS Asia Pacific Safety Seminar will return to Singapore in April 2026. The next AIMS Safety Seminar will be held in Orlando, Florida January 11th to 16th, 2026.
