AALARA updates operators with latest safety guidance
Committed to backing its members in ensuring safety is their day-to-day operations, the Australian Amusement, Leisure and Recreation Association (AALARA) has shared a series of recent safety updates from WorkSafe Victoria, Safework (NSW) and Workplace Health and Safety Queensland regarding the safe operation of amusement devices.
11th April 2022 - Zero tolerance for unsafe rides
13th April 2022 - Amusements safety reminder
13th April 2022 - Free quad bike program to protect kids
14th April 2022 - Toolkit keeping young workers safe
19th April 2022 - Children's Play Centres
23rd April 2022 - Safety warning on inflatable rides
27th April 2022 - Safety at Events
29th April 2022 - Severe corrosion on teacup rides
AALARA is staging its annual conference at the Sea World Resort Conference Centre on the Gold Coast from 16th to 18th May.
The conference will feature Michael Croaker, Head of Entertainment at Village Roadshow Theme Parks, delivering a keynote address while also recording and gathering content for his Park Life podcast.
