AEG Live rebrands as AEG Presents
Global promoter AEG Live has rebranded as AEG Presents.
The name switch comes after AEG acquired a stake in US promoter and venue management company The Bowery Presents earlier this year. The firm is yet to make an official announcement on the rebrand.
AEG is the world's second biggest concert promoter, behind Live Nation, with 16 regional offices, working with artists such as Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Kenny Chesney. It also produces or supports over 25 music festivals including the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.
The company's AEG Facilities division owns and operates over 100 venues worldwide including the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Barclays Center in Brooklyn, The SSE Arena, Wembley, and the world's busiest venue, The O2 in London. It also partners with Australian interests in venue manager AEG Ogden.
AEG stages more than 8,000 shows annually, conducting business under brands such as AEG Live, Goldenvoice, Concerts West, Messina Touring Group, Marshall Arts LTD and Madison House Presents.
