Adventure Cove Water Splashpark proves popular at BIG4 Merimbula Tween Waters

BIG4 Merimbula Tween Water's new Adventure Cove Water Splashpark has been the perfect antidote to scorching summer heat since its 23rd December opening.

More than 300 visitors and guests packed the Sapphire Coast Holiday Park to experience the opening of the new facility that was designed and installed by Vortex Aquatic Playgrounds.

Designed with children of all ages in mind, the zero-depth Pirate-themed splashpad features a giant tipping bucket and spray whale and crab, tipping bells, water cannons, water jellies, domes and lots of other cool water effects.

Commenting on the project, Vortex Aquatic Playground Business Manager Ron Swaab stated "the BIG4 Merimbula Tween Waters Splashpad has something for everyone.

"Older kids enjoy the massive bucket that dumps huge amounts of water every time it tips, some children even deciding to lay down under the bucket to experience the full dumping effect, whereas the toddlers gravitate towards the water jellies and animal characters enjoying the different sensations that each item provides.

"I've even seen parents with young babies introducing them to the cascading-effect of the water domes and watching these tiny faces light up with delight."

The Splashpad complements the resort's other world class facilities for families holidaying on the NSW Sapphire Coast.
