AALARA launches state of the attractions industry survey
The Australian Amusement, Leisure and Recreation Association (AALARA) has launched its first ever 'State of the Industry' Survey.
Designed to get a full picture of the current performance of businesses in the amusement, attractions and related industries, the Survey also aims to measure business confidence moving into the Australian summer.
AALARA also hopes that business owners and managers contributing to the Survey will explain the key roadblocks to their success so the Association can develop their policy and advocacy work to target the issues prohibiting the development of our industry
Explaining the inauguration of the Survey, AALARA President Phil Durkin stated “the AALARA State of the Industry Survey is the largest survey of Australian amusement leisure and recreation businesses (ever undertaken).
“The results of this survey will provide critical insights into the sentiment of business owners and managers across the country.
“Our State of the Industry Survey includes detailed measurements on employment levels, turnover and business profitability (and) the results of this survey will benefit operators in our industry by providing knowledge that can be used in business decision making to give owners and managers a greater degree of confidence to the strategic planning and future investment decisions of your business.”
AALARA General Manager Troy Cush added “it is AALARA’s goal to arm business owners and managers with the information they need to succeed. In short we want to power the potential of the industry and this research is the first step in the development of a range of initiatives aimed at assisting our members to improve their professionalism, profitability and to continually succeed.”
