4,500 industry leaders set to gather for IAAPA's Asian Attractions Expo 2012
The 2012 Asian Attractions Expo (AAE), set to be staged in Hong Kong next week, is expected to attract in excess of 4,500 visitors and delegates.
The event, owned and produced by the International Associational of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), is the leading business event for the attractions industry in Asia.
The trade show floor is open from 5th to 8th June, while IAAPA's education program will operate from 3rd to 8th June.
The event is being staged at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and features five days of education programming and networking activities, such as Leadership Breakfasts, the IAAPA Institute for Attractions Managers, a daylong IAAPA Safety Institute, and networking events at world-famous area attractions.
IAAPA President and Chief Executive Chip Cleary explains "IAAPA's Asian Attractions Expo is the attractions industry's one event in Asia that offers participants countless sophisticated learning opportunities combined with events designed to connect industry professionals."
Since 1997, the Asian Attractions Expo has been the premier event for the multibillion-dollar leisure and attractions industry in Asia. More than 4,500 professionals from 60 countries will participate in the 2012 event, representing theme parks, waterparks, zoos, aquariums, museums, family entertainment centres, casinos, and resorts.
The trade show floor will showcase products and services offered by more than 275 companies from 30 countries in more than 100 products, including amusement and theme park rides; architectural and design services; coin-operated games, skill games, and redemption prizes; and food and beverage.
