400,000 people expected at summer of major headline events at Sydney’s Accor Stadium
Accor Stadium's summer of concerts is underway with an expected 400,000 ticketholders set to see music superstars Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ed Sheeran and Harry Styles in what will be the biggest back-to-back concert crowds in Australia this year.
With the Red Hot Chili Peppers (with Post Malone) rocking the venue last Thursday and Saturday, a further more than 180,000 people are expected for the two Ed Sheeran shows on 24th and 25th February.
Advising that Accor Stadium is famous for delivering some of the biggest and best stadium concert experiences in Australia, Accor Pacific Chief Executive, Sarah Derry advised “we love giving people special experiences at Accor Stadium. We are thrilled that fans and our loyalty members, along with interstate and international visitors, are able to experience fantastic sporting and entertainment events.
“Accor Stadium is a great demonstration of our support for tourism, sport and entertainment. We are so proud of this partnership, which is an investment in experiences that bring people together, from world-class concerts, to sporting and family events.”
Following the summer concert season, Accor Stadium will host some of the nation’s biggest sporting events, including five key matches of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Derry stated that Accor Stadium complements ALL-Accor Live Limitless, Accor’s award-winning loyalty program, and brings many benefits to members, adding “importantly, Accor Stadium gives us the opportunity to showcase the very best of our loyalty program ALL - Accor Live Limitless by giving loyalty members world-class experiences beyond our hotels.
“We offer members exclusive money-can’t-buy-experiences across Accor Stadium’s events program.
