2025 World Leisure Expo to be held in Chinese city of Hangzhou

The Chinese city of Hangzhou, dubbed the ‘Oriental Leisure Capital’ is counting down to hosting the 2025 World Leisure Expo and 27th Hangzhou West Lake International Expo.

Running from 10th to 12th July, the events will once again see Hangzhou become a global hub for leisure, innovation and cross-sector collaboration, welcoming voices from around the world.

Co-hosted by the World Leisure Organisation (WLO) and the Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government, the 2025 World Leisure Expo will take place at the Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Centre  - offering a three-day global platform featuring:

  • Thematic exhibitions

  • Cross-border e-commerce showcases

  • Global product innovation

  • Talent forums and procurement fairs

Commenting on the program, WLO Chief Operating Officer, Cristina Ortega Nuere stated “as Chief Operating Officer of the World Leisure Organization, I’m honoured to take part in this major international event.”

Ortega Nuere added “this Expo is more than an event-it’s a global dialogue on the future of leisure, inclusion, sustainability and innovation.”

The Expo is being attended by WLO Chair Professor Joanne Schroeder along with international partners.
