2015 Travel Industry Exhibition opens with significant numbers

Marking its second edition, the Travel Industry Exhibition opened yesterday (16th July) with its show floors welcoming tourism professionals taking in the large and diverse range of suppliers - both new and well-known - to the Australian market.

In spite of the rainy start to the day, the Travel Industry Exhibition had a great turn out in visitor numbers and with over 120 exhibiting companies from across the globe, there was plenty of new conversation to be had.

Exhibitors launched new and innovative travel products and services and ran competitions which saw a number of enviable prize giveaways.

Seminars were packed out with highlights including a captivating panel of bloggers led by veteran public relations strategist Prue MacSween delivering practical blogging tips and tools to an eager audience, Twitter know-how with Holly Galbraith and crucial insights with Facebook into successful travel brands and how they utilise social platforms.

The program also includes a crowd-drawing line up of speakers including TripAdvisor’s Jessica Quinlan, Brek Batley from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT) and Rick Myatt from the Australian Federation of Travel Agents.

The free to enter events is being held on 16th and 17th July 2015 at Luna Park Sydney.
