World Athletics looks for ticketing partner for Tokyo 2025 Championships

Aiming to ensure smooth ticket sales for the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo in 2025, World Athletics has opened a new official sponsorship opportunity for an event ticketing partner.

Organisers of Tokyo 25 are simultaneously inviting sponsorship contractors and ticketing contractors to sign a contract with the same company for ticket sales at the championships and to attract partners who will work together to make the event a great success.

It advises “we look forward to receiving applications from all those who will help us to promote the WCH Tokyo 25 and spread the joy and splendour of athletics and sports, as well as the attractions of the host city, Tokyo.”

Scheduled to take place from 13th to 21st September next year, the World Athletics Championships will welcome more than 2,000 athletes from over 200 countries.

It is the second time the Japanese capital city will hold the event, after first hosting in 1991.
