Wizid takes event services online with Attende

Access, identification and security solutions company Wizid has expanded its product range with the launch of Attende, a new ticketing and registration platform for event managers.

Designed for event mangers, novice or professional, Attende is free to use for free events and only charges a small fee for paid events when ticket sales are made.

Event managers can either pass that small fee on, or absorb it in the ticket price.

For events looking to raise money through auctions, memorabilia or merchandise, Attende also gives users the ability to create an online store just for their event and sell merchandise during the ticket sales process.

In looking to expand the NSW Central Coast-based company’s product range, Managing Director Peter Holz looked at the looking at how events are created and managed, embarking on a lengthy review of web based ticketing and registration platforms.

Holz explained “we reviewed almost every online ticket and event registration platform we could find, but several key elements were always missing.

“One of the biggest deterrents for us was that event funds went offshore and guests were often hit with expensive international transaction and currency conversion fees that didn’t show up until the credit card statement arrived.”

The result has seen Wizid launching an event ticking and registration platform built and hosted in Australia that uses trusted payment gateways and backed by a personalised service experience that allows customers to contact the host directly rather than hide behind a digital email based customer services experience.

Attendes’ registration page is fully customisable allowing users all the creativity their corporate style or creativity flair will allow. Attende also gives users the means to promote and share their event with the world via its integrated email marketing platform and social media links.

While Attende is busy selling the tickets, clients can concentrate on other more important tasks like check on how sales are progressing with a range of measurement tools that provide the vital information they need in real time.

Over 18 years in business, Wizid has expanded its project range from supplying access control wristbands, Wizid’s product range has grown to include all types of identification and event consumables such as wristbands, lanyards, name badges, plastic cards and event ticketing.

It has also recently expanded its product line to include promotion products and branded merchandise.

As Holz adds “including promotional products into the mix was a perfect fit for Wizid and our customers.

“There are so many small, but equally important tasks when organising an event – large or small. Customers have come to trust our service and reliability for almost two decades now, so when they saw we could provide that same level of service and attention to detail for branded merchandise, they jumped at it.”

Wizid prides itself on its level of personal care and attention to detail provided by staff who are passionate about what they do.

Holz concludes “Wizid have been a fixture on the Central Coast for almost 20 years now.

“We have a great team of people who not only enjoy what they do, but a great at it. And while we sell all over Australia, the support and encouragement we get from local businesses right here on the coast is always that much sweeter.”
