Wet'n'Wild Sydney reaches capacity
New Sydney waterpark Wet'n'Wild Sydney has announced that it has reached capacity - turning away visitors on the first weekend of the NSW school holidays.
The management of the waterpark used Facebook and Twitter to warn potential guests to stay away, with its Facebook advice stating "Wet'n'Wild Sydney has temporarily reached capacity and we apologise for any inconvenience.
"We will keep you updated as to when we can begin to admit additional guests into the park, as we have reached our capacity at this time."
The waterpark has also reported that its season passes have sold out.
Teething troubles have also put several of its rides out of action, including the Doubles Bowlseye, the Curler, Riptide and Wet'n'Wild Junior, with the waterpark revealing the closures on Twitter, tweeting "Engineers working on rectifying the problem ASAP."
On Friday night, about 10,000 people being forced off slides and out of the water after a thunderstorm hit western Sydney.
The rapid exodus of guests from the waterpark caused massive traffic problems around the Prospect site.
