The NSW Government's Stadia Strategy includes the development of the Western Sydney Stadium as a new 30,000 seat international standard stadium located on the site of the now demolished Parramatta Stadium. The new venue will accommodate multiple rectangular sports, concerts, festivals and community events.

The Operator will be required to identify opportunities to continually improve the financial performance of the Western Sydney Stadium by increasing revenue, reducing expenditure, creating commercial opportunities and assisting Venues NSW to provide an international standard user experience.

The Operator will be responsible for delivering significant non-commercial outcomes for society, including community, social and economic benefits and make provision for considering these factors along with commercial outcomes from the venue operations.

The Operator will be required to assist Venues NSW to improve the financial performance of the Stadia Network: e.g. in events coordination, commercial rights, corporate hospitality, utilities costs and back-of-house infrastructure such as information and communication technology (ICT).

Expression of Interest For Pre-Qualification - An invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) for pre-registration of prospective tenderers for a type of work or service. Applicants are initially evaluated against published selection criteria. RFT may then be invited from a panel of providers (as Selective, or Invited).
