Vision for Perth to be the events heart of Western Australia

By Karen Sweaney

More than $800,000 has been committed by the City of Perth to support a diverse range of inclusive arts and cultural events for 2021 and 2022 with City of Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas advising “we have a vision for Perth to be the events heart of WA - a city that is inclusive and activated, successful, flourishing and thriving.

“We want there to be something suitable for everyone, of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.

“Investment in the arts is important in ensuring the cultural enrichment and economic diversity of our city.”
