Village Roadshow Theme Parks appointment

Village Roadshow Theme Parks has announced the appointment of Tony Cullen to the position of Manager: Trade and Tourism reporting to Head of Sales Annette Peace.

The role will see Cullen responsible for the development and implementation of sales and marketing initiatives to grow domestic trade and international business for the Village Roadshow Theme Parks group on the Gold Coast.

Cullen commenced his career with the Iwasaki Corporation including five years based in Japan completing his International Hotel Management Training. On his return to Australia he worked in sales and marketing for leading tourism brands including Sea World, Currumbin Sanctuary and Taronga Zoo.

Cullen then returned to his home town of Rockhampton working as General Manager for Regional Tourism Capricorn followed by eight years as Director of Sales and Marketing for Rydges Oasis and Capricorn Resort.

More recently Cullen held the position of Executive Manager of the Marketing and Engagement Team before being promoted to Executive Manager in the Office of the Chief Executive for the Rockhampton Regional Council.

Village Roadshow Theme Parks Head of Sales Annette Pearce said that Tony's extensive knowledge of both the domestic & international tourism markets will be an asset to the team, and we look forward to his contribution to our on-going success.
