Victoria’s Hepburn Bathhouse and Spa named Best Luxury Mineral Spring Spa in Australia and Oceania

The Belgravia Leisure managed Hepburn Bathhouse and Spa has been named ‘Best Luxury Mineral Spring Spa: Australia and Oceania at the 2014 World Luxury Spa Awards.

The World Luxury Spa Awards recognise quality, innovation and service for spas around the globe, shining the light on the world’s best spas, attracting the attention of global spa-goers and industry experts alike.

Awards are presented to luxury spas in 14 different categories on a country and global basis. Spas are invited annually to nominate for the award category which best suits their unique selling point and for the Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa that is the Mineral Spring Spa category given the unique access that the facility has to the mineral water sourced directly from the springs within the Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve.

The Hepburn Bathhouse has been welcoming guests ‘taking the waters’ since 1895 and is recognised as one of regional Victoria’s most popular tourist attractions.

Extensively renovated in 2009 the Bathhouse houses the public mineral water bathing pools of the Relaxation and Spa Pools whilst The Sanctuary houses Spa Couches, Salt Therapy Pool and an Aroma Steam Room. The original Edwardian Bathhouse now The Spa boasts stunning contemporary architectural design with over 30 wet and dry treatment rooms, making it one of the largest and most spectacular spas in the country.

Commenting on winning the Award, Hepburn Bathhouse and Spa acting General Manager Karen Golden stated “I am so glad that our team of spa professionals at the Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa have been recognised on an international stage for the exceptional guest services that they offer.

“What is perhaps most pleasing is the fact that this award is judged by the consumer with consumers casting their votes therefore our guests have recognised our service excellence and the benefits of the unique mineral water bathing experience that we offer”.
