Victoria Tourism Industry Council announces new Chief Executive
The Victoria Tourism Industry Council (VTIC) has announced the appointment of Lisa Patroni as its new Chief Executive, replacing the outgoing Felicia Mariani.

Her deep roots in the tourism and events sector, combined with significant experience across both government and private enterprise, make her well-placed to lead VTIC into its next phase.
Patroni is widely respected for her strategic leadership, marketing expertise, collaborative approach, and highly effective advocacy, and has been a consistent champion for tourism’s role in shaping a vibrant and resilient Victoria.
In her most recent role as Executive Director, Visitor Experience at Parks Victoria, Patroni demonstrated strong strategic foresight and passionate advocacy, she played a pivotal role in driving commercial growth and deepening community engagement, helping to educate and transform the way Victorians connect with our natural environment. Previous roles at the Victoria Racing Club, Peter Rowland Catering, Melbourne Convention and Visitors Bureau and Hilton Hotels ensure her knowledge of the visitor economy is both deep and broad. Her appointment marks a confident step forward as VTIC continues to strengthen its influence and support for members across the state.
Commenting on her appointment, Patroni stated "VTIC has long been a cornerstone of Victoria’s visitor economy, and I’m deeply honoured to be appointed into the role of CEO. VTIC Chair Scott Chapman welcomed the appointment, noting "we are thrilled to have Lisa stepping into the role of CEO.
"She brings not only deep industry knowledge and trusted relationships, but also a powerful voice that will continue to represent our sector with clarity and conviction. The Board is confident in her ability to guide VTIC and our members through the opportunities and challenges ahead.
