UTS hosts SMAANZ 2012 conference

The 2012 Sport Management Association of Australia and New Zealand (SMAANZ) Conference is to be hosted in the harbour city by the University of Technology, Sydney.

The 18th annual SMAANZ Conference intends to bring together industry experts and academics in sport management and to debate key issues.

The conference keynote speaker has been confirmed as Professor George Foster of Stanford University, a world leader in the study of sport business finance and global economic challenges in the sport market.

For other presentations, a call for papers is currently open on the SMAANZ website with abstracts accepted up to 13th June.

The event is being held at the UTS Graduate School of Business, Haymarket from 28th to 30th November.
