SMAANZ Conference heads to Gold Coast
The Sport Management Association of Australia and New Zealand (SMAANZ) has announced that the Gold Coast's Bond University and the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine is to host its 15th annual Conference, to take place from 26th to 29th November 2009.
Through this conference, Bond University in partnership with Business GC (the Economic Development Branch of Gold Coast City Council) will run forums and oral presentations aimed at facilitating sustainable sport management practices. The conference theme does not aim to restrict delegates from presenting other sport management related research or professional practice work.
Further information on abstract submission guidelines and deadlines, fees and registration, accommodation and transportation will be made available in the coming weeks.
Founded in November 1995, SMAANZ was established predominantly by members of sport management related faculties from universities offering sport management programs. The Association aims to encourage scholarly inquiry into sport management related research and to provide the opportunity to present results from this research.
