Union looks for Dreamworld pay breakthrough
Fair Work Australia is holding an enterprise bargaining conference between the theme park's managers and the Australian Workers Union (AWU) today.
The union wants a 3.8% pay rise for workers over two years.
AWU organiser Garry Crompton says Dreamworld management is refusing to show anyone the wording of its pay offer, noting "we are seeking the assistance of Fair Work Australia because Dreamworld are trying to lock workers into a four year agreement which they have refused to show to people.
"No-one can predict the economy for four years, it has been a roller-coaster so we are seeking a two year agreement."
