Uncertain future for Bundaberg attraction
Bundaberg’s Coral Isles Karts and Amusements is facing an uncertain future with site currently for sale and potential new owners apparently more interested in the land rather than the attraction.
Ray White Real Estate agent Gary Martin is managing the sale of the property and said some people who had looked at the site did plan to re-open the attraction.
Martin told local media that interest had primarily been from buyers looking at the land's potential.
Located at Rubyanna in Queensland's Wide Bay-Burnett region, Coral Isles Karts and Amusements offers facilities including a go kart track and waterslide.
The sale of the property comes after former owners Derek and Vanessa Berthelsen were forced to put the business liquidation.
The property is now controlled by Sydney-based Solutions Property manager Ian Fennell, who, after an unsuccessful public tender, is now listing the property for $390,000.
