UFS covers Tweed Regional Aquatic Centre

The revamped Murwillumbah Swimming Pool, to be known as the Tweed Regional Aquatic Centre, is set to open.

Universal Fabric Structures (UFS) have covered the shaded areas of the facility, introducing the 'batyline' ceiling, an innovative internal ceiling solution that assists in reducing acoustic reverberation through a specially developed fabric that forces internal sound to dissipate in the ceiling void, while retaining its good looks over time and being extremely dirt resistant and easy to maintain.

And the entire installation of this structure of over 1000 metre2 was completed in less than three weeks!

UFS have also supplied and installed the grandstand fabric structure and are completing additional works including three shade sails over the leisure pools and internal image screens within the pool building.

UFS specialise in concept, manufacture and installation of quality fabric tension membranes structures, awnings, and a diverse range of permanent, relocatable or modular shelter structure options.
