UAE firm engages UFC star to launch MMA-based gym concept
New Age Fitness, a subsidiary of the UAE-based Al Ahli Holding Group, has launched a new mixed-martial arts-based gym concept called MCage.
The announcement was made in a special event attended by UFC Hall of Famer and MMA fighter Randy ‘The Natural’ Couture, who was also announced as the new brand ambassador for MCage and Yalla Fitness, a soon-to-be-launched boutique gym concept.
The company said the launch of MCage complements its continuing commitment to provide customers with fitness and health services that are based on high international standards.
Al Ahli Holding Group Chief Executive Mohammed Khammas stated “we are proud to announce this new offering from New Age Fitness, which falls in line with our continuing efforts to promote health, wellness and fitness across the UAE.
"In line with this, we have also invited world-renowned MMA fighter Randy Couture to Dubai and have appointed him as ‘MCage’s new brand ambassador.
“We are confident that Randy can further inspire and encourage members of the UAE community to stay fit through exercise, clean living and healthy eating.”
Khammas added that Couture had been selected because of the positive impact he has made on the public in promoting a healthy lifestyle and encouraging exercise as a key way to keep fit.
