True Blue takes 24/7 fitness franchising to country towns

Taking the concept of franchised 24/7 gyms to towns in regional Australia, True Blue Fitness Centres have developed a low cost fitness franchise model suitable for small communities.

With franchised 24/7 gyms enjoying “spectacular” growth in recent years*, gyms are now present in cities and suburbs across Australia. However, True Blue Fitness Centres founder and Managing Director Jason Webb believes that his model fits with small communities and regional towns.

Starting with their first club in Moree in NSW, Blue Fitness now have franchises in Narrabri and Woolgoolga, with clubs set to open in Toormina and Tannum Sands on Queensland’s Central East Coast.

Webb explains “rural towns don’t often have the facilities, resources or professionals available and the bigger brands are often not interested in going in to centres with small populations.

“We have a franchise system suitable for people in rural towns creating opportunities for people like personal trainers and others with an interest in fitness looking for a business that will work for them.

“Having been born and bred in the country and learnt to diversify to maintain profitable businesses, we realise we have an opportunity for others to be part of.”

True Blue Fitness Centres can be established for as little as $99,000.
