Treetops Adventure Canberra Park launches zipline-only aerial course
Treetops Adventure Canberra Park has expanded its outdoor offerings with the launch of its first zipline-only aerial course at Majura Pines.
Building on the park’s growing popularity by catering to the growing demand for zipline thrills, the new experience features 12 ziplines ranging from an easy 20-metre glide to a soaring 90-metre ride through the pines, reaching heights of up to 12 metres above the forest floor.
Four timber bridges and viewing platforms link the runs, creating a course that offers both adrenaline-pumping fun and sweeping views across the Majura landscape. The format, focused solely on flying rather than climbing, was developed after operators observed how strongly visitors gravitated toward the zipline elements of the existing rope courses.
Designed for guests aged eight and above, the course takes around 20 to 30 minutes to complete and serves as an add-on to regular park tickets.
It complements the site’s established aerial challenges - popular since the attraction's March 2024 opening - which include suspended bridges, balance beams and climbing features. Together, the new and existing attractions are expected to strengthen Treetops Adventure Canberra Park’s appeal as a family-friendly weekend destination.
Treetops Adventure Canberra Park is the 16th Experience Co-owned park to be opened by Treetops Adventure in Australia.
Overall, it offers 16 ziplines stretching up to 75 metres along with more than 100 aerial obstacles including wobbling wooden bridges, tight ropes and cargo nets spread over eight ropes courses.
Experience Co launces new Great Barrier Reef experience
Experience Co has expanded further in recent weeks with its Reef Unlimited subsidiary introducing the Two Island Explorer, an exclusive Great Barrier Reef experience visiting both Fitzroy Island and Green Island in a single day.
As the only operator offering both destinations together, guests can enjoy the best of the reef on land and in the water.
