Tough Mudder and Marvel partner to deliver digital fitness initiative
Tough Mudder and Marvel have announced a new partnership which will see the pair launch a new digital ‘fitness adventure’.
The experiential fitness brand will launch Tough Mudder Challenge: Marvel Edition, a new 21-day digital event in which participants will delve into the Marvel universe and ‘release their inner super powers’ with challenges inspired by the Avengers, X-Men and the Fantastic Four.
Set to run as part of the Tough Mudder Challenge series, participants will complete a series of physical, mental and skill-based challenges over the course of 21-days, tracking their progress in a new digital platform.
Introducing the partnership, Tough Mudder’s Global Chief Executive, Kyle McLaughlin stated “the Marvel and Tough Mudder communities are a natural fit.
“Both brands give people of all abilities an outlet to escape the ordinary and get motivated and inspired to overcome challenges they didn’t think they were capable of.”
Marvel Entertainment President, Dan Buckley added “when Marvel’s heroes are pushed to their limits, they find their inner strength and work together to accomplish the seemingly impossible.
“Just like Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, the Tough Mudder community brings out those very same qualities. We hope everyone will be up for the challenge with this latest Marvel Edition.”
Participants are able to earn unique Marvel/Tough Mudder co-branded finisher gear, including a Marvel/Tough Mudder signature headband and commemorative challenge coin, part of a complete set of six coins participants are able to earn for completing Tough Mudder Challenges from July to December.
Tough Mudder says it will launch its 2021 Challenge series in November 2020.
