TodayTix launches in Adelaide increasing access for theatregoers
TodayTix has launched in Adelaide, increasing accessibility to theatre and the arts. Adelaide is the fifth Australian city to join the TodayTix global network of theatre capitals, following Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.
TodayTix works with thousands of venues to provide the best-priced tickets available in the biggest cities around the world, including New York City, London’s West End, Toronto, the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Seattle, Washington DC, Chicago, and Australia. TodayTix works with venues, producers, and arts organisations to seamlessly connect culturally curious audiences with the best local shows and experiences.
Australian audiences have embraced the app, and successfully secured affordable tickets to some of the country’s most popular shows including HAMILTON, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, MARY POPPINS, and Moulin Rouge! The Musical.
Via its user-friendly e-commerce technology, innovative product design, and frictionless experiences, TodayTix offers audiences a ticketing experience unlike any other.
Following the production’s success in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane MARY POPPINS is one of the marquee shows on TodayTix in Adelaide that is making its debut playing to local audiences at Adelaide Festival Centre from July 2023.
Rachel Nossack, General Manager of TodayTix Australia notes “It is a thrill to be adding another Australian city to our footprint here in Australia. Adelaide is a culturally rich city, with a diverse offering of theatre and cultural experiences. We are excited to again be working with our friends at Michael Cassel Group on the MARY POPPINS $40 digital Lottery. It is a gorgeous production that has been enjoyed by audiences of all ages, and our signature Lottery will improve accessibility and enable even more people to experience this memorable show.”
Michael Cassel adds “as Mary prepares to make her way to Adelaide for the very first time, I am delighted to partner with TodayTix again to create even more opportunities to experience the magic of this new production of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s beloved musical.”
Following hit seasons in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s MARY POPPINS flies into Adelaide Festival Centre in July 2023 for a strictly limited season. Adapted from the beloved stories by Australian author PL Travers and the original Disney film; the magical tale of the world’s favourite Nanny comes to life on stage in this spectacular and unforgettable production.
