Therapy Fitness launches offering training based on the mood of members
Designed to help embrace the ‘therapy’ people need during each, the newly opened Therapy Fitness at Mermaid Waters on the Gold Coast is offering three fully immersive studios that encourage training based on members’ moods.
The first tri-concept fitness studio on the Gold Coast, Therapy Fitness is the creation of co-founders fitness personality Emma Masters along with Kyle Riley and David and Roz Norman.
Carefully curated to get members into the zone of their ideal workout for that day, Therapy Fitness offers a low-light, club-style cycle class; a hot Pilates space and a resistance-based treadmill and weights class.
Offering over 70 classes each week, which broadly range from intense, nightclub-style cycle classes to slow, candlelit Pilates classes, the Therapy Fitness team focuses on members’ needs for self-care, self-love and pushing themselves to new limits.
Masters explains “each studio is designed to bring its own unique feeling or ‘therapy’, ensuring that fitness is no longer something we punish ourselves with, but instead we can utilise its power to improve our mental health and feel good.”
Among accolades, Mens Health Australia has already picked Therapy Fitness as offering a key fitness product, identifying it as ‘one of the latest wellness trends to try in 2023’.
