The Sydney Tower Eye to reopen with lower capacity limits and cashless operations
The Sydney Tower Eye is reopening to the public on Thursday 4th June, following the Australian Government’s recent easing of COVID-19 restrictions. Sydney’s highest outdoor adventure SKYWALK will also be available to experience from 6th June, with limited capacities and walks per day.
Upon re-opening, several new measures have been put in place throughout the attraction to ensure the health and safety of all visitors and team members, while providing peace of mind to guests enjoying the best view of Sydney.
These hygiene and safety measures include becoming completely cashless operations, lowering capacity limits with allocated time-slots for guests, the use of additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing for staff, the provision of spatial separation markings, the installation of hygiene screens in various areas and enhanced cleaning regimes.
Sydney Tower Eye General Manager, Dave Boyd is excited to see guests walk through the doors again and notes “We can’t wait for guests to return to Sydney Tower Eye where they can see as far as the Blue Mountains from Sydney’s ultimate viewpoint, with 360 degree views, 250 metres above the city streets.
“Our team has also been working really hard behind the scenes to ensure the attraction is a safe and fun place for families to visit. Moving forward we ask that all guests, including our valued annual pass holders, pre-book their timeslot in advance.
“While the attraction has been closed to the public since 23rd March, we have continued to bring joy into many homes through our program of free live streams including SKYWALK tours and sunrise yoga session, which have had phenomenal feedback. Now we can get back to doing what we do best – providing you in person, hands down, the best view of Sydney and a great day out for family and friends”.
The reopening of Sydney Tower Eyes comes just days after Merlin Entertainments announced the re-opening of their Darling Harbour attractions; SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo and Madame Tussauds Sydney on 1st June.
For a limited time only, Sydney Tower Eye is offering guests a 20% discount on admission tickets. With the Merlin Annual Pass, guests can lock in 12 months of unlimited fun across 10 attractions in Australia and New Zealand.
