Sydney Tower restaurant to close for $12 million revamp

The Sydney Tower Dining and its 360 Bar and Dining will close on 1st March for a six-month revamp.

The $12 million redesign will include a new bar on the top-floor space currently used for events, which on opening will make it Sydney’s highest bar.

Still often referred to as the "Centrepoint Tower" by locals, the venue, which operates separately to Merlin Entertainments' Sydney Tower Eye, is a popular location for inbound tourists to visit.

Speaking to Good Food, Rod Faucheux from Loop Creative said they wanted “to design a bar that to international and local guests alike appeared as if it had always been there, a time-capsule of the era”.

Joseph Murray, Managing Director of the venue’s operator Trippas White, said the Sydney Tower was “an icon of the Sydney skyline” that “holds a treasured place in the hearts of Sydneysiders and many local and international tourists”.
