The Football Centre a new initiative for Perth
Aiming to cater for footballers of all ages and abilities, a new privately-funded indoor sports facility, The Football Centre has opened in the Perth suburb of Osborne Park.
Offering an indoor, high quality, synthetic football pitch developed by a FIFA preferred supplier, the pitch provides a truly authentic playing experience.
Co-founded by professional footballer Dean Evans, who has had stints with his hometown club Perth Glory FC, as well as spending time overseas in Asia, the 920 metre² facility has been created to coach the next generation of footballers in Western Australia.
In creating The Football Centre, Evans aims to provide a safe and inclusive environment for footballers of all ages and abilities to learn, develop and have fun, and to ensure that all players leave the facility high on confidence, and as a more accomplished player.
During his time of playing football professionally, Evans has coached younger, eager players, beginning in his early 20s. In doing this, he noticed an opportunity in turning football into a business, and hence The Football Centre was created.
With a team of professional coaching staff, including Perth Glory goalkeeper Liam Reddy, The Football Centre offers a range of programs designed to get the best out of each player.
The facility also offers junior and senior tournaments and is also available for hire.
