The Fitness Generation announces new Brand line up for 2016

After 34 years of distributing global brands throughout Australia, The Fitness Generation has announced their most significant brand acquisitions and new product launches in its history.

Set to launch at the upcoming 2016 Australian Fitness & Health Expo in Melbourne, The Fitness Generation will showcase two of the most innovative strength brands in the industry: FREEMOTION™ and HOIST®.  These leading brands are acknowledged for being ‘best in class’ in Cable Based Training and Selectorised Strength and join TFG’s strength solutions that include Paramount, recently acquired by TRUE Fitness and The Fitness Generation’s own value range, HEALTHSTREAM.

TRUE FITNESS’s new Variable Stride Elliptical (Spectrum), Lateral Trainer (Traverse) and FREEMOTIONS’s Incline Trainer along with the new commercial grade Schwinn Airdyne AD8 will also feature at Filex 2016.

FREEMOTION™ and HOIST® join and complement TRUE FITNESS and EXPRESSO and HEALTHSTREAM.  Further TFG has recently acquired distribution of VASA TRAINERS, PEAK PILATES, LEMOND, POWER PLATE and ROCKIT, with consumer brands including SCHWINN, NAUTILUS and SPINNING.

Welcoming the distribution of the new products, The Fitness Generation (TFG) Chief Executive Tim Horskins comments “TFG is gearing towards celebrating 50 years in the industry and as such we have strengthened our ties with brands that best fit with the direction of the company.

“The industry is continually developing and the demand has grown to offer specific products dedicated to High Intensity Zones , Functional Strength, Free Weight, Flexibility and of course Cardio.  The Fitness Generation has always maintained no single manufacturer can be best in class in each category, so it’s imperative we exclusively offer products from specialist global brands that cater for these needs.”
