Thanyapura launches 'Superkidz' Aquathlon

Phuket's Thanyapura Sports and Leisure Club (TSLC) has kicked off its first 'Superkidz' Aquathlon with 80 children from Thailand, Malaysia, UK, the Nederlands, Australia, France, Germany, New Zealand, Austria, Russia and the USA competing in the challenging athletics event.

Eight times Ironman world champion and Thanyapura Senior Triathlon Coach Jurgen Zack said he was pleased with the event, stating "the event was well organised and was a perfect start for the Superkidz series (and) I was particularly impressed with the level of performance and the good strong results.

"It was nice to see progress in the kids' fitness levels especially those who have attended our training regularly."

The successful launch event was held in conjunction with supporting contributors including, Class Act Media, Secure Wealth Management, CB Richard Ellis, Speedo and Phuket International Hospital.

The next competition in the Thanyapura SUPERKIDZ Triathlon series is a long distance running event on 1st September, a duathlon event on 5th October and a triathlon event on 8th March 2014.

Alongside the Triathlon Academy at Thanyapura's world class Olympic standard facilities are training academies focussed on tennis, football, rugby and swimming as well as regular group activities ranging from from Martial Arts, Power Plates and Zumba to Pilates and Spinning.

Thanyapura is dedicated to coaching clients at every level of ability in order to help them realise their potential and live a more healthy, balanced life within the four constructs of sports, health, education and mind training.
