TEDxSydney returns as face-to-face event after three years
TEDxSydney will hold its first in-person event at Sydney Town Hall on 5th August, marking a return of its in-person main event in three years.
In a statement introducing TEDxSydney 2022, which will explore the theme IMPRINT, organisers advised “as a global community, we have been forced to do a lot of reckoning over the past two years.
“Our relationship to the future has been radically transformed. No longer a place where our hopes, travel plans and high-tech inventions co-exist; suddenly ‘the future’ has become somewhere unpredictable and unfamiliar.
“As we rebuild and re-emerge, there is an opportunity to evaluate what futures can evolve from this.”
The line-up of TEDxSydney 2022 speakers spans business to science, culture and tech and includes Nicky Sparshott, Chief Executive of Unilever Australia & New Zealand and Global Chief Executive of luxury retailer, T2 Tea, and Associate Professor David J. Garrett, research scientist and Chief Executive of Carbon Cybernetics.
