Tasmania Football Club makes key commercial appointment

The Tasmania Devils have revealed the appointment of James Creak as General Manager Commercial and Partnerships.

Described as a key appointment in "building the commercial backbone" of the new AFL club, Creak joins the Devils "bringing senior leadership experience from Uber and, most importantly, a genuine connection to Tasmania".

On social media the club went on to note "commercial interest in the Devils is strong, and James will turn that interest into partnerships that align with who we are - hand-built relationships that create real value for our community and our Club."

Looking forward to his new role, Creak stated "the chance to establish the commercial and partnership program of Tasmania Football Club is something I'm extremely excited about."

Devils Chief Executive, Brendon Gale added "commercial and partnership interest in our Club is extremely strong, and we are now ready to start actioning that interest."

Early in his career Creak worked as an AFL Business Analyst for Repucom. Since 2018 he has worked in various executive roles for Uber.
