Sydney's Ivy expands event capabilities
Sydney venue and 'urban playground' the Ivy is expanding its reputation for hosting unique events, launches and corporate functions through their meetings and events division.
Having launched Pacha Sydney, 'Ibiza-style' music and entertainment experience at the end of last year, the venue has been fitted with a number of additional capabilities to allow for spectacular events, performances and displays, in particular to accommodate the huge scale of the Pacha production.
Structural, AV and lighting facilities were upgraded for the implementation of Pacha Sydney including motorised winches to allow for aerialist performances, box trusses to support enormous LED screen for projections and purpose built rigging which provides Ivy with the capability of suspending large objects including cars and boats within the complex.
The range of extra facilities enables clients to incorporate a whole range of fantastic options to accentuate and individualise their events, all within the the luxurious surrounds of the Ivy building and courtyard.
One of the Merivale Group's managed venues, the Ivy now also hosts Palings Kitchen & Bar, Merivale's newest culinary destination.
Capable of holding up to 1,500 guests over the two levels of ivy Building 1, the space is ideal for large exclusive events, corporate functions and launches.
Occupying four levels of Ivy every Saturday night, Pacha Sydney is much more than a traditional nightclub, featuring a concoction of theatrics, dance, music, light and costumes masterminded by the world-class, specially appointed Pacha Sydney creative team.
