Sydney FC partners with the University of New South Wales
A-League club Sydney FC has agreed a new deal with University of New South Wales (UNSW) to become major partners for the next three years.
The two organisations first partnered up during Sydney FC’s Asian Champions League campaign in 2016.
UNSW branding will be visible at Allianz Stadium throughout A-League home games and televised W-League games, as well as on the back of the club’s A-League playing shorts and the back of W-League playing jerseys.
Welcoming the partnership, Sydney FC Chief Executive Tony Pignata stated “to have one of the leading universities in the country align with one of Australia’s leading football clubs is pleasing.”
UNSW Professor and Vice-Chancellor Professor Ian Jacobs added “we are particularly pleased that this sponsorship extends to both the men’s and women’s teams at Sydney FC as well as the broader club community.”
