Swimming Australia welcomes SIXT as official vehicle rental partner

SIXT Australia has announced a partnership with Swimming Australia, coming on board as an official vehicle rental partner for the Australian Short Course Championships and the Australian Open Water Championships

SIXT Australia, with its bright orange branding, is 100% owned by NRMA in Australia, and owns one of the largest vehicle fleets in the market – including cars, utilities, buses, 4WDs, vans and trucks. There are currently over 16,000 vehicles in the SIXT fleet.

Interim Swimming Australia Chief Executive Steve Newman shared “to attract a brand like SIXT shows how much cut through and splash Swimming Australia, and the Dolphins, are making.

“And with swimming events held throughout the country – including Sydney Short Course from September 13-16 – there are fantastic opportunities for the brand to grow in our national community.”

SIXT Australia Chief Executive Matt Beattie added “not only will we be helping the team in their travels, we will also be offering Swimming Australia’s fan base and families with discounts on vehicle rentals around Australia.

“Australia is a sporting nation but more importantly a swimming one. SIXT are thrilled to be supporting our swimmers and their families as they work towards the Brisbane Olympics in 2032.

“We wish all the swimmers success in their respective events, and look forward to supporting the wider Swimming Australia community with their vehicle rental needs.”
