Surf Life Saving launches new brand and website
This summer Surf Life Saving is launching a new brand direction - 'Australian for life' to encourage all Australians to become a part of Surf Life Saving.
The challenge is about helping more Australians realise the breadth of Surf Life Saving and to show that we offer so much more for the community outside of patrolling our beaches.
The new brand direction will be supported by a new consumer orientated website and an advertising campaign which will communicate to consumers that there are many ways in which the community can play a part in Surf Life Saving, from joining a surf club, to doing a first aid course to donating time or money or even by simply always swimming between the red and yellow flags.
The new Surf Life Saving television commercial will commence screening on Sunday 17th October 2010.
Surf Life Saving has also launced an new website, replace the old Surf Life Saving Australia website, also as of Sunday.
The new Surf Life Saving website is modern and fresh, and designed to cater for all Australians and provide a better overall user experience.
The new website is friendly, relaxed and aims to speak to everyone in the community, but according to a SLS statement "we haven't forgotten the importance of speaking to our valued membership too.
"You will still be able to find all your relevant member information and news under the Members tab on the main navigation. Under this tab you can access member related content on lifesaving, surf sports, education, nippers, development and the club and member resource library."
âTo assist in the transition, the âAdmin and Resourcesâ section and âSecure Resource Libraryâ have remained the same, even though it looks different. To access this visit Members on the main navigation, then select Club and Member Resources. You will also still find your Quick Links in this section.?
