Suncorp Stadium recognised with Italian Chamber of Commerce award

Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium has been presented with the Large Business of the Year Award at the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) in Australia, Queensland 2023 Business Excellence Awards.

Presented at the ICCI Queensland Christmas Lunch early this month, judges noted that “Suncorp Stadium stood out for its ethics and innovation in its involvement with the Italian and international community. Through numerous charitable and fundraising initiatives, Suncorp (Stadium) has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to improving people's lives and promoting ethical values.”

In making the award, judges considered leadership and business culture, innovation, customer service, industry involvement, impact on community and business achievements among other areas.

The award was presented by Lord Mayor of Brisbane Adrian Schrinner with the Italian Consul of Italy to Queensland and Northern Territory, Luna Angelini Marinucci, in attendance.

Commenting on receiving the award, Suncorp Stadium Director - Marketing, Comms and Digital Systems, Andrew Stephenson stated “the award recognises the incredible record-breaking year the venue has had as well as the impact it has had on the wider community.

“The venue extends its thanks to the ICCI Queensland and the Lord Mayor and congratulates the entire team.”
