Star Trac equips Samsung HQ

Samsung, one of South Korea's largest companies with 18% of the country's GDP, has recently opened a brand new health club at its corporate headquarters in Seoul.

The 1,700 metre2 facility, which opened on 1st June, consists of a gym with equipment almost exclusively supplied by Star Trac.

Equipment in the newly built club includes 91 E-TR treadmills - the first treadmills of this latest model to come off the production line. The 120 CV stations also include bikes, steppers and total body trainers. The gym also offers around 35 Star Trac strength stations complemented by a full set of benches and racks, dumbbells, weight plates and a Smith machine.

The facility has been created for the exclusive use of Samsung's approximately 3,500-strong workforce and is free to use for all members.

Rose Hriczko-Bravin, Managing Director of Star Trac Asia and Middle East, says "as we embark on living the ideals of Expect Different, it was important to partner with Samsung as a leading global brand making the investment in corporate employee welfare.

"We are honoured that they have selected Star Trac to provide the products to form the lifelong health and fitness habits of their most valuable asset â their employees."
