Staging Connections announced as multiple finalists in the 2012 Australian Event Awards

The Staging Connections' team are thrilled to be chosen as finalist for multiple awards in the 2012 Australian Event Awards.

As the first time Staging Connections have entered the category of Best Education or Training Program, their finalist nomination is a credit to the investment the organisation and people at Staging Connections have made to the Trainee Program across a number of years.

The second nomination and defending their title as previous winners for the category, Academy of Wedding Planners Best Private Event are the Weddings by Staging Connections team.

Talking about the nominations Staging Connections Managing Director Tony Chamberlain explained "I am extremely proud that the team have again been recognised as finalists especially with such a high calibre of fellow nominees. It is a real testament to their passion, hard work and continued commitment to creating great events.

"It is extremely important that as a leader in the events industry, Staging Connections strive to invest in training and development of events professionals and new recruits, giving them a pathway of professional development in the events industry."

Staging Connections has been training Australia's event talent since 1998 and became a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in 2004. The Trainee Program provides the foundation to make every event the best it can be and as market leader is a driver of innovation in technical, styling, design and digital products and services.

The events professionals at Staging Connections will be waiting for the evening of Thursday 13th September 2012 when the winners of the Australian Event Awards will be announced.
