St Kilda Football Club seeks operator for its Danny Frawley Centre for Health and Wellbeing
The St Kilda Football Club has opened an Expression of Interest (EOI) process for a company to provide management services for its Danny Frawley Centre for Health and Wellbeing (DFC) - located at the Club’s home venue, RSEA Park, on Linton Street in the Melbourne suburb of Moorabbin.
Through the EOI process, St Kilda aim to appoint a single contractor or a variety of contractors for the operation of the DFC’s gymnasium and mindfulness room, rehabilitation and recovery area, allied health area and aquatics area with warm water pool and 25m lap pool.
St Kilda advise that “the expectation will be that the appointed contractor or contractors will manage the Centre and its components in line with the expectations outlined within the specifications document.”
Currently under construction, once built, the DFC will complete the ‘members’ wing’ at RSEA Park. Being constructed in two stages, Stage 1, including the aquatic facilities and Wellbeing Centre (to be operated by partners of the STKFC) will be completed in February 2022 while the second stage with the community gymnasium and Allied Health Centre is scheduled to be completed in October next year.
