S.R.Smith appoints Anti Wave Australia General Manager

S.R.Smith has appointed Keith Hall as General Manager of its Anti Wave Australia business. Prior to joining S.R.Smith Australia, Hall enjoyed more than 25 years of service with Pentair and most recently Pool Systems.

Acknowledging the many years of senior management and business development experience that he bring to his new position, S.R.Smith Chief Executive and President Rich Laitta explains "Keith comes to us with a great skill-set and in-depth knowledge of the industry."

In November 2013, S.R.Smith, LLC acquired the assets of Anti Wave Australia and established SRS Australia Pty Ltd. The purchase of Anti Wave Australia brought S.R.Smith a portfolio of competitive swimming products under the Anti Wave Brand, which the company will market and sell in Australia.

In addition, S.R.Smith plans to expand into the Australian market with its current family of products including LED pool lighting, slides, diving boards, pool games, rails, ladders, lifeguard chairs, starting platforms, and pool access lifts.

Anti Wave products are well known in the competitive swimming world and include starting blocks, water polo goals, racing lane lines, storage reels and complementary accessories. Anti Wave products have been featured in several Olympic Games, including Sydney 2000. The Australian business will trade under the name SRS Australia Pty Ltd and operate out of the existing Anti Wave manufacturing and distribution facility in Ipswich, Queensland.

S.R.Smith is a worldwide leader of residential, commercial and pool access equipment. Founded in 1932, S.R.Smith is headquartered in Canby, Oregon, USA, with additional manufacturing outside Nashville, Tennessee.
