SRI Surveys Global Sport Salaries
Sports Recruitment International (SRI) has launched its global salary survey to help employees and employers understand the realities of remuneration across the fast-changing global sports sector.
The confidential international survey can be completed on-line at www.sportsrecruitment.com. It will track salaries for different roles and levels of seniority across the sports industry allowing for comparison between job types and territories.
This is the third salary survey undertaken by Sport Recruitment International one of the worldâs leading sport recruitment consultancies.
According to SRIâs Commercial Director Amy Johnson, the changing economic environment makes it the most relevant to date. As she explains, âthe survey will provide hard data on the current state of salaries in the sports sector and provide a reality check for both employers and candidates.
âWe have recently seen many good quality candidates turning down job offers because the salary and benefits packages were below their expectations.
âIn an uncertain economy, candidates who are not inspired by the packages they are offered are far more likely to stay where they are rather than take on a new opportunity.
âThe survey will enable both employers and candidates to assess the current market rate to specific roles and, perhaps, adjust their expectations and offers accordingly.?
The salary survey is open to all employed within sports sponsors, agencies, governing bodies, broadcasters, public sports bodies, sporting goods brands and betting and gaming operators. The results will be collated and analysed for publication in September.
Sports Recruitment International is headquartered in London and has offices in Geneva and Amsterdam. Its clients include many of the worldâs leading sports sponsors, agencies, governing bodies, broadcasters, public sports bodies, sporting goods brands and betting and gaming operators.
