Sportybots program training goes digital with cartoon animations
Children's multi-sports programs provider Sportybots Pty Ltd has bought their training into the digital age with the launch of an online portal that provides licensees with comprehensive training in their children’s sports program through cartoon animated videos.
Sportybots programs operate in seven countries, which meant developing an online training solution that suited both the cultural and language differences of their program licensees, and they saw animations as the answer.
Introducing the new training technology, Sportybots Pty Ltd Director Mel Faull explains “we wanted to create a training platform that was informative and engaging.
“Training doesn’t have to be monotonous; it’s about thinking outside the square and doing something that’s different and fun and cartoon videos were the perfect solution.
“Our licensees are loving the animated videos which bring the written program manual to life and avoids confusion on how a game or activity should run. This also allows us to keep our product uniform in all markets.”
With access to over 360 animated sports lesson video’s, plus sports skill technique guides, coaching tools, coach training assessments, marketing templates, program news and updates, the training portal covers everything needed to effectively set up, deliver and train staff in the Sportybots programs.
Sportybots are the leading providers of childrens’ multi-sports programs for sport and recreation centres. Programs cover 12 common sports as well as Gross Motor Skill Development and suit children from as young as 18 months to eight years old.
