SportNXT 2024 shaping up as Australia’s most influential sport industry conference

With just a week until is commences, SportNXT 2024 is shaping up to be Australia’s largest gathering of the world's most influential leaders in sport.

With over 80 confirmed speakers, including global leaders in the industry, the conference, being hosted in Melbourne from 19th to 21st March, presents the opportunity to forge new connections, discover cutting-edge technologies and stay ‘ahead of the curve’ in this rapidly evolving industry.

SportNXT provides an unrivalled platform to see what's NXT in the world of sport.

Among the 80 speakers, the SportNXT 2024 program includes some of the most highly credentialed domestic and global leaders in sport, including:

  • Jimmy Pitaro, President and Co-Chair, ESPN (virtual)

  • Casey Wasserman, Chair and Chief Executive, Wasserman; Chair, LA2028 Olympic & Paralympic Games (virtual)

Site Visits
Each year, SportNXT and the Victorian Government host site visit tours to selected sports infrastructure in and around Melbourne on the third day of SportNXT.

This year, two Site Visit Tours will be run concurrently. Registered delegates will have the opportunity to register to participate in either of the below tours:

Tour 1 - Home of the Matildas and the Formula 1® ROLEX Australian Grand Prix
The Home of the Matildas is a world-class precinct built to support the aspirations of the CommBank Matildas, as well as providing year-round access to elite training and match facilities for the Victorian football community - with a focus on women and girls.

Tour 2 - Marvel Stadium and the Formula 1® ROLEX Australian Grand Prix
Since opening in 2000, the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne's Docklands has welcomed over 42 million fans since 2000.

Australia's busiest multi-purpose venue, hosting major sports and concerts, in 2024, the stadium is undergoing a $225 million redevelopment, introducing 10 new spaces including Stadium Square, a revamped entry hub, The Stadium Rooftop with stunning city views, and purpose-built function spaces Skyline and Horizon, promising an elevated experience.

Formula 1® ROLEX Australian Grand Prix
On the eve of the Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix 2024, delegates can get trackside to see how one of Australia’s premier international major events comes together.
