SpongeBob SplashBash launches at Sea World Resort and Water Park

Nickelodeon has arrived at Sea World Resort and Water Park with the launch of the SpongeBob SquarePants water playground.

Resort guests can now join the popular sponge and his nautical friends in their very own underwater adventure at the amazing 'SpongeBob SplashBash', in an exciting aquatic experience.

The opening of the splash park area follows the launch of the world's first SpongeBob Parade at Sea World this summer, completing the exciting new Nickelodeon offerings.

Village Roadshow Theme Parks Chief Executive Tim Fisher said that the Nickelodeon 'SpongeBob SplashBash' will be the ultimate attraction for families, making Sea World Resort an even more amazing holiday destination.

Fisher states "the 'SpongeBob SplashBash' is going to be extremely popular as the Resort brings the undersea world of Bikini Bottom to life through amazing special effects including the spectacular musical water fountain featuring a stunning LED light show nightly.

"The LED light experience is a stunning combination of synchronised water jets, music and lights combined in a theatrical show the kids will adore. Plus, the show will even change every night so families can enjoy a different show experience on each night of their stay at Sea World Resort.

"There are hours of family fun waiting to be had in the bright and colourful water-play areas, including a soaking from a giant spray bucket which will pour over 800 litres of water on the eagerly waiting kids below.

"After experiencing the 'SpongeBob SplashBash', kids can meet SpongeBob, Dora and their friends in the Resort lobby. Plus, visit the Resort's newly upgraded Kids' Club with specially designed Nickelodeon activities and programs that the kids will love."
