Splash Planet teams up with the Hawke’s Bay Rugby
Hastings waterpark Splash Planet has joined with Hawke’s Bay Rugby to encourage families to back their local team in the ITM Cup competition.
The Splash Planet 'Take a Kid to Footy' promotion aims to get youngsters from around Hawke’s Bay to enjoy the rugby that is on offer year round and encourage parents to take their children to the Magpies ITM Cup matches at McLean Park.
Introducing the promotion, Splash Planet Manager Peran Hutchings explains “I am excited about this great partnership which links two of the biggest and best family activities in the ‘Bay’”.
“Splash Planet opens again for the summer season on Monday 17th November and teaming up with the Magpies during the ITM Cup season will allow us to remind the kids about the great times that are on offer at Splash Planet.
“During the summer season we will be able to remind the thousands of youngsters who attend Splash Planet that there is some great 7s rugby to be played and watched around Hawke’s Bay.
“We also look forward to welcoming rugby players and their families to Splash Planet during summer and see how they go on the Double Dipper!”
Hawkes Bay Rugby Union Sponsorship Manager Dan Somerville added “we are delighted to have teamed up with Splash Planet as naming partner of the Splash Planet Take a Kid to Footy initiative.
“This is a key offer that will allow families to enjoy the Magpies match experience at a great price. This ties in well with the Splash Planet club card which also offers great deals for Hawkes Bay residents.
